“Give sorrow words… the grief that does not speak knits up the over-wrought heart and bids it break.”

~William Shakespeare

Grief and loss are universal parts of our human experience but that doesn’t make them any easier. It is often the most difficult parts of our life and far too many people choose to work with it alone.

We don’t “get over” grief and loss, we don’t “move past it”, and we don’t “put it behind us”. Grief and loss need to be honored, processed, given space and time, and integrated into our lives going forward in a healthy way.

While many therapists can be incredibly supportive in the grieving process, one specially trained can offer unique space, presence, insights, and strategies for working with grief and loss.

Many people in our lives can be caring and compassionate supports during our time of grief and loss, however folks who are also going through a season of grief themselves have a unique ability to make us feel less alone and less different.

I truly believe that with the right knowledge, support, and compassionate camaraderie your work of integrating this loss into your life can be less painful
